VINE covers people currently in custody or who may have been recently released. Its search is tied to reporting agencies and participating records, so the agency name must be read with the status. The service is not a permanent Nobles County release archive. An older record can age out, an agency can be offline, or a record can be restricted. A missing result therefore cannot prove release.

An email or text verification code is different. That one-time code confirms contact information for an account. It is not the four-digit alert PIN used for status notifications. For a forgotten PIN, contact VINE support or the facility rather than guessing.
Acknowledgment affects repeat delivery, not the underlying custody event. Entering the PIN tells the system that the intended recipient received the phone or TTY notice.
